About The Position

The position requires the ability to set up and operate a variety of multi-die headers with minimal supervision. The candidate must be proficient in reading blueprints, inspecting parts using various quality tools and gauges, and troubleshooting as necessary to produce quality parts that meet customer demand. This is a 2nd shift position.

Requirements

• 2-5 years experience running Headers-Formax Header is a plus!
• HSD/GED or equivalent experience
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform basic math

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and perform complex machine set up as required.
• Setup, adjust, and operate equipment as trained in a safe manner.
• Determine tooling adjustments needed to maintain proper set-ups on multiple header sizes and types.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Properly use gauges and other quality tools to ensure production of good parts.
• Perform first piece inspections, monitor the quality of all parts, and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance, complete all required tracking documents.
• Record data for SPC, ISO/IATF 16949 documentation.
