About The Position

Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. We are hiring immediately for a 2nd shift Die Cutter in our Mt. Pleasant, PA manufacturing plant. Must be able to train on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of previous work experience in a manufacturing environment. Requirements

• Minimum educational requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months previous manufacturing experience.
• Basic written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work at a rapid pace.
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred one or more year's previous manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates die-cutting machines to provide properly cut envelope blanks to meet production standards.
• Reviews job tickets to determine type, description, grade, weight of paper, die, quantity to cut.
• Programs and adjusts cutting, as well as operates auto die cutting machines.
• Reports all damaged and/or rejected materials.
• Remains within waste standard; segregate, weigh and record waste.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machines.
• Maintains set production standards for quality and quantity.
• Complies with safety rules and regulations (includes safety attire).
• Maintains housekeeping in work area (sweeps, removes waste, other).
• Other duties as assigned.
