About The Position

The Cross Dock I unloads and loads incoming and outgoing trailers, and sorts, palletizes, and moves product. This position operates on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity may be needed.
• May need to complete and maintain SanMar’s Lift Operator Certification every two years.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require.
• Ability to learn Internal Operating System and operate Radio Frequency (RF) unit.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
• Able to work both independently and within a team.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comprehend verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Use a Radio Frequency (RF) unit to track all movement of product entering and leaving the building by scanning designated labels and barcodes.
• Unload and load product by following standard operating procedures.
• Use an electric power jack to move pallets and/or product as needed.
