Ironmark is seeking a dedicated Bindery - Digital Perfect Binder Operator to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for perfect binding and bookbinding finishing operations, ensuring that all bound products meet quality standards and customer expectations. The Bindery Specialist will efficiently perform a range of finishing operations using various equipment, including cutters, stitchers, and folders. This role requires collaboration with the Production Manager, the Vice President of Operations, and cross-functional production departments to deliver consistent, high-quality finished print projects to our customers. The Bindery Operator will also assist with hand operations as needed, contributing to the overall success of the company by ensuring timely and accurate completion of projects. The Bindery - Digital Perfect Binder Operator will work in a state-of-the-art facility located just outside Columbia, MD, where teamwork and a positive work environment are emphasized. The job may involve changes in duties and responsibilities based on the needs of the department or company, and the operator must be adaptable to these changes. The position is full-time, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 10 PM, and may require mandatory overtime. Essential functions include logging jobs accurately, operating and maintaining bindery equipment, setting up machines for proper finishing, monitoring equipment functionality, and inspecting finished products for quality assurance. The operator will also be responsible for maintaining a neat work area and following safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
