About The Position

As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by performing a variety of operations such as mounting, posting, and aligning parts, setting up equipment for testing, and maintaining production records to assemble comfort units to specifications. Shifts (All shifts operate Monday-Thursday with possible overtime on Friday and Saturday) Shift 2 2:30p-1a M-TH w/OT as deemed mandatory.

Requirements

• Read and write English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read tape measure.
• Must have good problem solving skills.
• Prior carpentry/construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Work from blueprints and verbal instructions from Supervisor.
• Able to mount, align, position, and assemble a variety of parts and components including frames, compressors, fans assemblies, control boxes, coils, panels, motors, nuts, bolts, rivets, adhesives, etc., to completely assemble comfort units.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors.
• Coordinate with other assemblers to ensure smooth production flow and troubleshoot any issues including shortages or outages.
• Visually inspect assembled products to ensure that all parts are properly aligned, connected, and functioning correctly.
• Package units and parts with all necessary components including warranties and manuals.
• Choose correct packaging materials to protect the nature of the product.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
• Perform any and all other department duties as assigned by Supervisor.
