About The Position

The Loss Prevention Associate contributes to the success of Sur La Table by securing company assets and overall safety of the distribution center. The Loss Prevention Associate reports to either a Distribution Supervisor or Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Prior facility security experience preferred
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

  • Monitor employees and visitors entering and exiting the building
  • Greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Monitor video surveillance
  • Watch and report irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations
  • Contact emergency responders as needed or as instructed by management
  • Answer telephone calls and route appropriately
  • Maintain batteries of scanners and other equipment
  • Order office supplies and issue badges/locks as needed
  • General housekeeping, maintenance and organization of work area
  • Record time worked, accurately and according to SLT policy
  • Consistently follows all Sur La Table policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
