About The Position

The Press Operator Helper supports the Press Operator in the setup, operation, and maintenance of printing presses in accordance with company procedures and safety standards. This role assists in ensuring efficient production flow and maintaining a clean and organized pressroom environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedural documents
• Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented production environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare upcoming print orders for production
• Assist the Press Operator with press setup and changeovers
• Support press cleaning and maintenance activities
• Monitor and maintain supply inventory levels at assigned presses
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressroom
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Pressroom Supervisor
