About The Position
Our Assistant Store Managers play an important role in creating a memorable customer experience. They support our day-to-day store operations, help develop our store employees, and act as product and brand ambassadors for Skechers. This position is crucial in ensuring that the store runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence. The Assistant Store Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to implement strategies that enhance the customer experience and drive sales. They will also be responsible for fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among store employees. In addition to supporting daily operations, the Assistant Store Manager will assist in the development of store employees by providing coaching and mentoring on product knowledge, customer service expectations, and visual presentation standards. This role requires a strong understanding of the Skechers brand and products, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike. The Assistant Store Manager will also play a key role in onboarding new hires, ensuring they are well-prepared to contribute to the store's success. The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for managing store scheduling needs, ensuring that the store is adequately staffed during peak times. They will act as a product expert and serve as a brand ambassador for all things Skechers, delivering an amazing customer experience through product and visual marketing excellence. Strong operational processes and routines that drive profitability and results will be a focus, as well as being the expert on all store systems and processes, including the opening and closing of the POS. In some cases, the Assistant Store Manager may be responsible for the opening and closing of the store as needed.
