About The Position

Jimmy John's is seeking a 2nd Assistant Manager who will play a crucial role in our fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, leading the sandwich line, routing deliveries, and completing necessary paperwork. The role demands physical dexterity for tasks such as lifting and a strong focus on maintaining store cleanliness and completing closing procedures. The 2nd Assistant Manager will also ensure that every customer receives world-class service, fostering a positive environment for both staff and customers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work 40-50 hours weekly.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Reliable transportation and commitment to being on time and present.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation including baking bread, slicing meats, and building sandwiches.
• Leading the sandwich line and routing deliveries.
• Completing daily and weekly paperwork, including balancing receipts and preparing shift deposits.
• Maintaining store cleanliness and completing closing procedures.
• Ensuring every customer receives world-class service.
• Setting the pace and attitude for the store and leading by example.
