26ft Box Truck Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate
About The Position
Well-established and locally owned company has a need for a Dock High Truck Driver / Warehouse Fullfillment Associate . This position will require the ability to drive a Dock High Truck and Cargo Van for deliveries, along with the performance of daily warehouse duties. Primarily 1st shift with occasional after hours and weekends. Compensation based on experience. Must be familiar with driving a 24-26'(non-CDL) truck with use of a lift gate, pallet jack, and hand trucks/dollies. Would prefer someone local to and familiar with the greater Charlotte area. Preference will be given to candidates with previous commercial driving experience, a DOT Medical Card, warehouse experience, and have flexibility in schedule. Prefer candidates with clean Criminal Background check, Drug test, and Motor Vehicle Record and will be performed by third party. Any job offer will be based on the results of the background check.
Requirements
- Have or able to obtain a DOT Medical Card (Required)
- Experience driving 24'-26' box trucks with liftgates, Cargo vans and forklifts
- Must be 25 or older (Due to Insurance reasons)
- Must have professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable, friendly, and willingness to go the extra mile to satisfy our clients
- Can work safely, follow instructions, and communicate as necessary
- Familiar with the use of smart phones/tablets
- Must be able to pass a background check with no felonies or DUI's in the past 7 years

Responsibilities
- Drive a Dock High Truck and Cargo Van for deliveries
- Perform daily warehouse duties
- Loading/unloading of trucks at origin and destination by hand, pallet jack, cart, or hand truck
- Sorting of freight in a warehouse setting which would require lifting up to 50lbs
- Following instructions/routing to meet or exceed client expectations by getting the proper documentation filled out and turned in as required
- Any other duties assigned by the Branch Manager
