About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Local Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently within designated local routes. This role requires a strong understanding of various types of trucks and trailers, as well as a commitment to safety and customer service.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (NON CDL)
• Proven experience in 26' boxtruck
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate 26' boxtruck
• Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Ability to operate LiftGate
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Assist in the training of new drivers if needed.

Benefits

• Pay: $550.00 - $700.00 per week
