The Department of Accounting invites applicants for a 9-month full-time, tenure-track, Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting position. The appointment rank will be commensurate with the selected finalist's experience, expertise, and training. The position begins in August 2026. The Department of Accounting, within the College of Business and Public Management, works to successfully launch students into the accounting field. Requirements

• Ph.D in Accounting or DBA (Doctorate in Business Administration) from an AACSB accredited program. ABD may be considered - must be completed prior to position start date.
• Demonstrated experience teaching accounting at the undergraduate level.
• Record of active scholarly activities such as, but not limited to, research, presentations, and publications.
• Possess industry licensure and/or certification, such as CPA, CMA.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Accounting. Additional courses within area of specialization may be assigned based on departmental needs.
• Engage in scholarly activities such as research, presentations, and publications. This is necessary for tenure and promotion.
• Advise and mentor students, as well as maintain required office hours.
• Serve the Department, College, and the University through participation in committees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
