About The Position

The Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) is seeking highly motivated and energetic applicants for the position of School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 school year. Requirements

  • Master's degree in school psychology.
  • Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) school psychology license (License 62).
  • Experience with testing, assessment data analysis, and report writing.
  • Capacity to serve on IEP teams as evaluator and/or LEA representative.
  • Knowledge of diversity in development and learning.
  • Understanding of legal, ethical, and professional practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) or Doctoral-Level Degree (Ph.D) in school psychology.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Hmong.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct special education evaluations and analyze/interpret assessment data.
  • Manage Section 504 evaluations and case management.
  • Deliver direct services for social, emotional, and behavioral interventions.
  • Facilitate student problem-solving meetings.
  • Collect and analyze data for social/emotional screening and functional behavioral analysis.
  • Consult with teachers on academic skills development.
  • Serve as a data resource to inform school-wide practices.
  • Provide family-school collaboration services.

Benefits

  • Minimum annual compensation of $68,901.
  • Length of contract: 192 days.
  • Exempt employment type.
