The Department of Recreation Administration provides five option areas with a BS in Recreation Administration. The department has strong programs in community and youth, special events and tourism, outdoor recreation, recreation therapy and sport and entertainment facility management. The department is committed to community engagement. The Department of Recreation Administration is one of seven departments in the College of Health and Human Services. The successful applicant may teach recreation, tourism, outdoor recreation, special event, sport and entertainment facility management courses. The department seeks qualified candidate(s) to teach undergraduate courses such as: RA 117 (Special Events and Tourism) RA 131 (Foundations of Special Events and Tourism) or other classes that may be identified as needed to fulfill educational goals of current students.
