About The Position

California State University, Fresno is seeking qualified candidates for teaching positions in the Curriculum and Instruction department. The position requires a commitment to excellence built on merit, talent, diversity, accessibility, and equal opportunity for all. Instructors for CI and ERE courses must hold at least a master's degree for 100-level courses and a doctorate for 200-level courses. Additionally, instructors of credential courses must have earned a teaching credential and possess relevant TK-12 classroom teaching experience. Online instructors are required to be online-certified and/or complete QLT training before serving as an online instructor.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction or closely related field.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence built on merit, talent, diversity, accessibility, and equal opportunity for all.
  • For CI and ERE courses: 100-level courses require that the instructor hold at least a master's degree, and 200-level courses require that the instructor have a doctorate.
  • Instructors of credential courses require a teaching credential and relevant TK-12 classroom teaching experience.
  • Online instructors must be online-certified and/or take QLT training before serving as an online instructor.

  • A commitment to teaching excellence in higher education, exhibited through prior teaching experiences and teaching evaluations or other evidence.
  • Successful teaching experience in a higher education setting.
  • Recent experience with teaching at the PreK-12 level.
