About The Position

This position offers a $2,000 (1 year stay-on agreement) or 4,000 (2 year stay-on agreement) Sign On Bonus with the agency! This bonus will be provided upon completion of a probationary period. Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field is required or must be obtained within 60 days of application.
• Possession of an appropriate State of Michigan credential is required or must have applied for and be able to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• One year of professional experience (professional or paraprofessional) working with persons with mental illness required or one academic year of graduate practicum/internship experience working with persons with mental illness required.
• Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required.
• Candidate may be expected to work some weekend and evening hours.
• Candidate must be able to work well with others.
• Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable means of transportation for job related use is required.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Coordinator, serves as a Master's level professional clinician performing a wide range of direct and indirect services for adults with mental health and co-occurring substance abuse disorders, along with a history of psychiatric hospitalizations.
• Services are primarily community based utilizing the ACT/IDDT model.
• Duties include therapy, case management, coordination of care regarding physical health, on-call rotation, pre-screen for hospitalization, referral recommendations to various services, consultation with service providers.
• Responsible for extensive case documentation.
• Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.

Benefits

• Starting salary $60,604 - $68,790 annually with scheduled, annual increases that can result in a salary of $79,538.
• New and Improved ACT On-Call Rates: Earn $90 Dollars Per Day Monday through Friday, Earn $125 Dollars Per Day Saturday through Sunday, Earn $35 Dollars Extra Per Day on Holiday.
