About The Position

The Career Readiness Center Instructor is responsible for delivering instruction on employability skills such as soft skills, resume writing, cover letters, job search strategies, and job applications. The instructor will organize career fairs, mock interviews, and other career exploration activities that support the programs and prepare students for the workforce. The position is full-time, 10-month staff, and is based at the Pryor Campus, reporting to the Campus Director. The working hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 50-minute lunch break. The starting date for this position is August 1, 2025.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Current Teaching Certificate as defined by the Oklahoma Department of Education.
• Three (3) years of teaching secondary students preferred.
• Experience with education software in a lab environment.
• Excellent communication and human relations skills.
• Proficient in record keeping, prioritizing, and scheduling.
• Knowledge of current school laws and regulations.
• Criminal history background check and pre-employment drug screening required.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
