All security officers are responsible for providing security services to the university community and for the protection of state property. To help to maintain the safety and wellbeing of our campus community, Security Officers are responsible for active patrol of our campus property. This includes all residence halls, academic buildings, parking garages, and campus grounds. The ideal candidate possesses a firm understanding of the role of security in a university environment. A successful candidate must embrace the concept of fair and impartial enforcement with respect for the rights of others.
