About The Position
The Overhaul Mechanic is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting critical rotating equipment in the Prudhoe Bay area. This role requires extensive knowledge of disassembling and reassembling industrial gas turbines, compressors, generators, and other auxiliary equipment. The mechanic will lead a team of turbine contract workers, ensuring timely project completion while maintaining accurate records and detailed notes. Proficiency in manual and CNC machining, as well as CAD programming for part fabrication, is essential. The position involves collaboration with various trade groups and requires a strong focus on safety and quality.
