About The Position
E.A. Hall Middle School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will possess a valid California Single Subject Science Credential and be committed to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with middle school students in the sciences, encouraging their curiosity and critical thinking skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with state standards, assessing student progress, and adapting instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in school-wide initiatives will also be essential components of this role. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the Science Teacher will be expected to maintain open communication with students, parents, and staff, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns. The teacher will also be involved in extracurricular activities and may have opportunities to lead science-related clubs or events, further enriching the educational experience for students. This position is full-time and offers a competitive salary range of $58,520 to $97,574, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, the school district provides a $2,500 signing bonus for new hires in the mathematics/science areas, with stipends available for those holding advanced degrees.
