About the position
This position is for a truck driver who must live within 50 miles of Beaver, UT. The average earnings per week are $1,700.00, with top weekly earnings reaching $2,200.00. Drivers will receive a safe and on-time mileage bonus of up to 3% of mileage pay. Home time is weekly for a 34-hour reset, with days off varying based on freight demand. The start time is at 6 AM, and drivers are expected to work up to 14 hours. The company provides automatic, tandem-axle, sleeper trucks that pull 53' dry van trailers. Drivers will handle 2 loads per week, with 3 stops per load, and are responsible for unloading the trailer using rollers, which requires climbing in and out of the trailer as necessary. Delivery locations include stores throughout Nevada, California, Arizona, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. Occasionally, drivers will pick up backhauls on their way back to the distribution center. The average weekly mileage is approximately 1,700 miles, and pay is issued weekly via direct deposit or Comdata. The company also offers great benefits and an unlimited cash referral program.
Responsibilities
- Drive company-provided automatic, tandem-axle, sleeper trucks pulling 53' dry van trailers.
- Handle 2 loads per week with 3 stops per load.
- Unload the trailer using rollers, requiring climbing in and out of the trailer as necessary.
- Deliver to stores throughout multiple states including Nevada, California, Arizona, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.
- Occasionally pick up backhauls on the way back to the distribution center.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 3 months Class A tractor-trailer experience within the last 12 months (with a minimum 40' trailer).
- No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 5 years.
- No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.
