About the position

This position involves driving company-provided automatic, tandem-axle, sleeper trucks pulling 53' dry van trailers. Drivers will typically work up to 14 hours a day, starting at 6 AM, and will have a weekly home time for a 34-hour reset, with days off varying based on freight demand. The average weekly mileage is around 1,700 miles, with drivers expected to handle 2 loads per week, each with 3 stops. Unloading the trailer will be done using rollers, which requires climbing in and out of the trailer as necessary. Delivery locations include stores throughout Nevada, California, Arizona, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. Occasionally, drivers may pick up backhauls on their return to the distribution center.

Responsibilities

  • Drive company-provided automatic, tandem-axle, sleeper trucks.
  • Transport 53' dry van trailers.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 3 months Class A tractor-trailer experience within the last 12 months (with a minimum 40' trailer).
  • No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 5 years.
  • No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.
