About The Position
The Site Coordinator position at Winston Salem/Forsyth County Schools is a part-time role responsible for overseeing the management of tutors and the delivery of services at one after-school tutoring location as outlined by the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Grant criteria. This position is crucial in helping students improve their academic performance, attendance, behavior, and promotion rates through the 21st CCLC program. The role is grant-funded and will last until the summer of 2027, making it a temporary but impactful opportunity to contribute to the educational development of elementary-aged students. As a Site Coordinator, you will assist with hiring, training, and managing site tutors, ensuring that the afterschool and summer programming aligns with the requirements of the 21st CCLC grant. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely collection and reporting of student data, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures for all staff and volunteers. Regular reporting on activities, attendance, and participation will be required to meet grant reporting standards. In addition to administrative duties, the Site Coordinator will develop partnerships with parents, community leaders, and organizations to foster a supportive environment for students. You will also supervise and coordinate staff and volunteers during special events, ensuring a productive work environment and conducting regular staff meetings to promote staff development opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of the school system environment and a commitment to improving student achievement, making it essential to articulate the district's mission and instructional philosophy to the community.
