About The Position

Per Mar Security is seeking highly qualified candidates for full and part-time Security Officer positions at one of our premier companies located in Racine, WI. The positions offer a competitive pay rate of $21/hour. Full-time shifts consist of 32 hours per week, specifically Wednesday and Thursday from 12am to 8am, and Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 12am. Part-time shifts consist of 20 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Thursday from 3pm to 7pm.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have previous security experience
• Must have current or renewable WI State Security License
• HS Diploma, GED, or HS Equivalency
• Must have computer skills
• Experience with CCTV monitoring
• Must be hyper aware of surroundings
• Ability to respond quickly with good judgement
• Experience writing reports
• Must be able to perform walking tours
• Must be able to stand 99% of shift
• Must pass on-site drug test and background check at time of hire

Nice To Haves

• Bi-Lingual Speaking
• Advanced skills with computers, security equipment, and surveillance systems
• Experience in one of the following fields: Security, Law Enforcement/Political Science, Military, Criminal Justice/Corrections, Military/EMS

Responsibilities

• Walking patrol of the building inside and outside to secure buildings, doors, gates, etc. regardless of weather conditions
• Monitor surveillance and access control equipment and perform inspections
• Complete daily reports as needed
• Secure building access points depending on shift
• Investigate and take appropriate action as situations arise
