PSEG is seeking an Intern for the Third-Party Attachments Group within the Asset Management & Planning Group. This role involves working as a Telecommunications/Wireless Co-Location Engineer, assisting in the deployment of wireless co-location sites on transmission towers and distribution poles. The internship is hybrid, requiring full-time commitment during the summer of 2025, and offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a Fortune 500 company while contributing to clean energy initiatives.

  • Assist third-party customers (wireless carriers) in deploying wireless co-location sites on transmission towers and distribution poles.
  • Perform desktop reviews of Site Candidate Information Reports (SCIPs) and conduct site visits to provide feedback to wireless carriers.
  • Accompany team on site design visits for new builds, upgrades, repairs, and decommissioning work.
  • Help maintain the construction tracker for transmission tower construction work for weekly status meetings.
  • Review deliverables from wireless carriers and assist with yearly site inspections of groundwork at transmission tower sites.
  • Facilitate access for wireless carriers to secure PSEG facilities and assist with surveillance camera and ALRP attachments on distribution poles.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution, graduating between December 2025 and May 2028.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and interact with individuals at all levels internally.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 3.0 GPA or higher.
