About the position
The position requires a Bachelor of Science degree along with 7 years of experience in SIGINT Hardware Engineering (HWE), or 11 years of experience if the candidate does not possess a degree. The primary focus of this role is to deconstruct FPGA, ASIC, and PCB technologies to gain a comprehensive understanding of their functionalities. The individual will also evaluate the effectiveness of commercially available tools used in conjunction with these devices. It is important to note that this position does not involve any design work; it is strictly analytical in nature. A current TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph is mandatory for this role.
Responsibilities
- Deconstruct FPGA, ASIC, and PCB to understand their functionalities.
- Analyze the effectiveness of commercially available tools for working with these devices.
- Conduct circuit analysis and digital design evaluations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree plus 7 years of SIGINT HWE experience, or 11 years of experience without a degree.
- Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Experience in ASIC design, FPGA design, and integrated circuit design.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with industry tools such as Cadence, Synopsis, and Mentor Graphics.
- Experience with AMD/Xilinx and Intel/Altera technologies.
