The group specializes in both GP-led transactions-such as continuation vehicles, single- and multi-asset restructurings, and tender offers-as well as LP portfolio sales and fund interest transfers. Members of the Secondaries Advisory Group work with a wide variety of private equity sponsors and institutional investors - across both industry and strategy - and work in tandem with Houlihan Lokey's industry coverage, M&A and financial restructuring teams. Houlihan Lokey's Directs Advisory Group provides strategic advice and execution services to funded and independent private equity sponsors and institutional investors navigating the fast-growing market for direct transactions outside of a traditional fund structure. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's and/or master's degree with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
  • Possess basic knowledge of and a keen interest in corporate finance
  • Strong qualitative analysis skills and ability to own a workstream end-to-end
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills

  • A fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications
