About The Position

Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive Summer Analyst Program experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts. Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel. Key highlights of the program include: A mentorship program to support learning and development A weekly speaker series to promote a deep understanding of the firm, our culture and share personal perspectives from employees Intensive training on our business model and how employees of the firm contribute to achieving our goals. Frequent connectivity with other Summer Analysts throughout the firm and our program team. Round table discussions on current events with macro and micro relevance to our business. Opportunities to exchange ideas and network with peers, mentors, and senior leaders throughout the firm Eligibility and Selection Criteria: To be eligible for consideration, students must be in their sophomore year and in good standing at their school. Prospective Summer Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact. Position: Rockefeller Capital Management’s Global Investment Banking business is seeking a Summer Analyst to support the team during the summer of 2027. As part of the Global Investment Banking team, the Analyst will have the opportunity to work on a variety of strategic advisory assignments, including sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions; divestitures and spin-off engagements; capital-raising; special committee engagements; direct investments; and, more broadly, evaluation of strategic alternatives.

Requirements

  • High school degree required
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and various financial databases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work product consistently
  • The ability to work accurately under pressure to meet competing deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Performing financial analysis and financial modeling, utilizing various valuation techniques
  • Drafting of materials for client meetings
  • Preparation of memoranda for internal and external use
  • Conducting financial and other business-related research
  • Coordinating complex and often time-sensitive processes
  • Active involvement in client-facing situations
  • Assistance in the execution of transactions
