About The Position

The Evercore Liability Management & Restructuring Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week intensive program crafted to provide highly motivated undergraduates with a representative experience in liability management and restructuring. The Program seeks intelligent and mature individuals with a desire to work in a boutique environment and learn on the job. In addition, Summer Analysts must demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and possess intellectual curiosity. Liability Management & Restructuring Summer Analysts will work on a variety of assignments including: in-court and out-of-court restructurings and recapitalizations, exchanges, tenders, and other liability management transactions, distressed M&A transactions and private credit capital raises. As a member of the team assigned to these projects, individuals will be responsible for tasks including preparing for and attending client meetings, financial modeling, resolving complex accounting issues, financial statement and credit document analysis, valuation analysis, industry analysis and due diligence. The small deal team structure allows Summer Analysts to have a strong platform to learn all aspects of restructuring and liability management and have close contact with clients as well as partners within the firm.
