About The Position

Ice Miller is seeking summer associates to join our Philadelphia office in the private equity, M&A and leveraged finance practices. Ice Miller’s summer associate program includes: Opportunities to develop direct working relationships with our attorneys to enhance your research, writing, and presentation skills, Staffing on active transactions, Guidance, mentoring, and regular feedback, In-depth training focused on professional and substantive legal skills, Opportunities for client contact, Social events and team building activities, and Competitive In addition to excellent academic credentials, we seek summer associates who: Excel in a team environment, Demonstrate leadership skills, Have prior work experience, including legal, military, or service industry experience, Are curious, motivated, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic work environments, Manage their time and their projects diligently, and Have prior experiences that prepare them to work with attorneys, staff, and clients from cultures and backgrounds different from their own. All applicants must: Have permanent authorization to work in the United States, Have earned a minimum of an undergraduate degree and are enrolled in the JD class of 2028 at an accredited law school, and In Philadelphia, we only hire students for our transactional practice and who have undergraduate degrees in business, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, or economics.
