This program offers university and graduate students hands-on experience through project-based work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Throughout the program, Interns will have exposure to mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities. The Proposal and Capture Operations Intern will help analyze existing proposal and capture processes, organize historical proposal data, and support the rollout of new systems and workflows.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; junior standing by fall 2026
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Interest in aerospace, engineering, or complex technical programs
  • Comfort working with documents, data, and structured information
  • Familiarity with basic AI tools, automation concepts, or workflow tools is a plus
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to travel for in-person orientation and program kickoff as well as for final presentation at program completion
  • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

  • Analyze proposal and capture workflows for complex technical programs
  • Organize and structure historical proposal data and artifacts
  • Support the introduction of new tools, templates, and systems
  • Explore and document AI-enabled approaches to proposal development
  • Create clear documentation, diagrams, and reference materials
  • Present findings in written and briefing formats for leadership review
