This internship will follow a hybrid/in-person model. Interns will be based at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and are expected to work on-site 3 to 5 days per week, depending on business needs. Relocation assistance may be available for candidates who meet specific eligibility criteria. The internship program is scheduled to run from May through August 2026. The Stellantis Intern Program offers a unique opportunity for highly motivated, innovative, and inspired individuals to work on challenging assignments where contribution, teamwork and communication are vital to the success of the organization. Interns that demonstrate outstanding qualities may be invited back for a return internship the following summer or may be considered for full-time positions.

  • Support one of the following areas: Structures, Safety & Quality; Chassis & Dynamics; Interior, Mechatronics, & NVH; Vehicle Performance; Development Performance & Regulation.
  • Work on meaningful engineering challenges that impact future vehicles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Present your project to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship.
  • Major in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering at an ABET accredited program; other Engineering degrees from an ABET accredited university programs will be considered.
  • Completion of sophomore year or higher at an accredited university by the spring of 2026.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite applications.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and with external partners.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations.
  • Able to drive vehicles; possessing a valid driver’s license.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge projects and technologies.
