Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a United States based University in a Bachelor's program majoring in Technical Writing, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technical Communication, English, Journalism, or related fields.
• Knowledge/experience with FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Visio, Jira, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with CCMS, DITA, DITA XML, Reuse, x86 processor architecture knowledge, and information architecture experience.
• Skills in maintaining consistent organization of multiple documents with multiple drafts and reviewers.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Word styles, document-level paragraph styles, or CSS style sheets.
• Writing, editing, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with people from different organizations across AMD to plan, create, and review engineering level content.
• Reorganize and rewrite content according to UI and quality standards.
• Participate in developer team file management discussions and testing.
• Identify and reuse existing document content as help topics.
• Write and edit engineering-level documents for computer hardware and software.
• Develop communication, writing, and project management skills.
