  • Support Product Development Engineers in characterization and to build production test programs through parametric, data and statistical analysis.
  • Perform engineering and correlation studies to ensure yield, coverage and meet target goal to initiate production ramp.
  • Work with multi-functional teams to help resolve production-related issues and improve efficiency.
  • Build and maintain technical documents, debug manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors.
  • Participate in Product debug and characterization to identify product performance, process, and test sensitivities.
  • Currently enrolled in a US based University in bachelor's degree program majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge/experience with C++, Linux, Perl, Ruby, Shell script, Java or similar.
  • Familiarity with GIT, SVN, CVS, RCS or similar.
  • Experience with XP, AGILE, Scrum, or Kanban programming paradigms.
  • Ability to use logic analyzers, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and debug.
  • Solid understanding of transistors and computer basics.
  • Courses in computer science, software engineering, digital logic, circuit theory, computer architecture.
