Business Overview Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) is one of the United States’ leading providers of financial and investment services. Within WIM, the Trust Services team offers personalized advice and fiduciary services to help high-net-worth individuals and families build, manage, preserve, and transition their wealth across generations. We accomplish this by: Building enduring relationships through thoughtful and objective advice Managing trust assets in alignment with governing documents and client directives Supporting clients with specialized services including estate planning, philanthropic strategies, and legacy trust solutions Program Overview WIM Early Careers seeks to attract, develop, and retain exceptional rising-senior students to Wealth & Investment Management. Our goal is to build bench strength and deepen our commitment to developing future leaders in WIM. Over the course of the ten-week summer program, participants will have the opportunity to: Gain on-the-job experience: Interns will work alongside experienced Trust Services professionals, gaining exposure to trust administration, fiduciary strategy, and client relationship management. Receive professional support: Interns will be paired with mentors and supported by program managers and peer cohorts to guide their development. Benefit from a virtual speaker series: Hear from Wells Fargo leaders about career paths, industry trends, and best practices in wealth and trust management. Take part in networking activities: Engage with fellow interns and professionals across WIM to build lasting connections and explore career opportunities. Interns will be placed in roles that support the Trust Services business, including areas such as: Personal Trust Administration Estate and Legacy Services Philanthropic and Special Needs Trusts In this role you will Collaborate with Trust Administrators and Fiduciary Strategists to support client relationships Review and interpret governing documents such as trust agreements and directives Assist in the administration of specialized trust types (e.g., Special Needs, Estate, Philanthropic) Participate in projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiency Engage with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support trust operations Learn and apply trust-related systems, workflows, and compliance protocols Contribute to client service initiatives and help resolve inquiries with professionalism
