The Integrated Air & Missile Defense Systems (IAMDS) department leads all aspects of Systems Engineering that drive the development of complex systems to support the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) mission area from our Tewksbury MA, and Andover MA locations. The IAMDS department supports Raytheon by cultivating a world-class group of systems thinkers who work together as a team to architect technical solutions to some of the world's toughest challenges. Key technical domains include Radar Systems and Sensor Netting, Effector Systems, Battle Management, Command and Control, Communications, Network Design, Battlespace Integration, and Interoperability for Domestic and International customers.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Applied Math or a related discipline
  • Experience with tools, such as MATLAB or DOORS
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

Nice To Haves

  • Cumulative 3.00 GPA
  • Knowledge of radar systems (for example - Patriot System)
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience in requirements development
  • Ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues
  • Familiarity with MS Office
  • Existing DoD Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Concept and requirements development, including decomposition and flow-down
  • Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design
  • Algorithm optimization, research and development; trade studies to bring new, advanced features to fielded system
  • Functional analysis of real world and test data
  • Multi-disciplinary development efforts across the kill-chain for an Air and Missile Defense System
  • Collaboration with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter
