Responsibilities

  • Support research on how engineers, planners, and manufacturing operators interact with analytics tools—conducting interviews, shadowing on the shop floor, and observing workflows to uncover friction points in decision‑making.
  • Analyze data from usability tests of dashboards, digital twins, and AI‑driven insights to identify opportunities to simplify complex manufacturing information for non‑technical users.
  • Create user personas and journey maps for manufacturing roles (e.g., planners, schedulers, process engineers, quality engineers, shift supervisors) to guide product and feature design.
  • Work with product managers, data scientists, and UI/UX designers to validate new analytics features, ensuring they align with real-world use cases such as yield improvement, tool health monitoring, and supply chain exceptions.
