About The Position

Hallmark's Marketing and Business Interns are typically business and marketing students with focus in business management, marketing, communications, marketing analytics, data analytics, public relations, or similar. As a Hallmark intern, you will work on impactful projects rooted in business need. You will use your business acumen and problem-solving skills to understand Hallmark's business priorities, the goal of your project(s), and to research, strategize, and develop a feasible solution(s) for your project(s) or the problem(s) at hand. In addition to your project work, you will have opportunities to expand your professional skill set, connect with corporate senior leadership, and engage in ongoing learning, development, and social activities with your fellow interns! We have 2026 Marketing and Business internship opportunities with the following teams: Loyalty Marketing Intern: As an Intern in Loyalty Marketing, you will be part of the Hallmark Marketing Team, which is responsible for all strategic marketing plans, including our various loyalty programs. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a high-impact initiative while gaining exposure to strategic marketing, customer engagement, and more. This will include benchmarking and competitor research, analysis and recommendations around influencer content integration, and ideation and development of activations for 2026 holiday campaigns. You will learn and apply the latest social media and influencer best practices and trends to bring the brand to life, while working in collaboration with both product and creative partners. Merchant Intern, Product Development: As a Merchant Intern, you will work alongside our Senior Merchants to provide ongoing strategic and financial leadership and end-to-end product management for assigned product segments to ensure delivery of sales, profits, and retail performance goals, while building Hallmark brand relevance and consumer appeal through the product categories managed. This team leads the development of product offerings (gifts, greetings, gift wrap, and more), retail program, pricing, and end-to-end commercialization strategies for assigned business/product segments. The internship will provide opportunities to act as the ambassador for consumer and product offerings by collaborating and facilitating alignment with a range of key partners like creative, insights and analytics, omnichannel development and more across the broader organization as relevant.
