The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge! The Program Management Office (PMO) team is responsible for managing all aspects of Hardware and Software New Product Introduction (NPI) program execution. Program Managers ensure the cross-functional teams they manage deliver products which meet their committed release dates, product specification, and budget allocations. The Program Management team are also 'change agents' driving multiple initiatives, efficiencies, and new processes/tools as part of ongoing continuous improvement activities.

  • Work on multiple concurrent projects related to PMO efficiencies or other business initiatives.
  • Create ability to automatically validate one or more PLM artifact documents is correctly completed.
  • Use machine vision or AI to create known good reference documents.
  • Create ability to compare a PLM artifact with reference document and output what is missing/wrong.
  • Create a requirements document for future implementation.
  • Create an automated 'self-serve' PAC Scheduling portal.
  • Leverage the PMO Meetings portal and integrate automation designed to look up available meeting slots.
  • Return available slots for the user to select.
  • Consume an Excel attendee roster and generate an Outlook meetings notification to all attendees.
  • Logic to address exceptions.
  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Anticipated graduation date between December 2026-2027 for undergraduate students or 2026-2030 for graduate students.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Experience with a variety of programming languages.
  • Experience automating manual processes within applications (e.g. Confluence, JIRA, Sharepoint) using scripts and/or AI agents.
  • Critical thinking - understands and can articulate the 'bigger picture' of a project scope.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams possibly located in 1 or more time zones.
  • Ability to communicate well (both verbally and written) with peers, Program Management, and business unit leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint).
  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences.
  • Summer Fridays, as applicable with your team.
