Allied World has an exciting opportunity for students with a Business, Risk Management or Insurance specialization looking to launch a career in the insurance industry. We have various spots available in our 8 week long 2026 Summer Internship Program beginning in June. Our structured program combines experiential learning, individual mentoring and training aimed at providing interns with the foundation for a strong underwriting future and a satisfying and rewarding career at Allied World. The intern positions will be in any of our main branch offices (New York, Chicago, Nashville, Los Angeles). Interns will be assigned to a primary product line, General Casualty or Professional Lines. In addition, interns will learn about each of our critical service functions including actuarial, claims, operations, and business development. After successful completion of our eight-week program and upon graduation, we expect our interns to be placed in full time underwriting positions with the ability to underwrite, with oversight by their department manager, a complex book of business.
