About The Position

Trex Company, the world's number one decking and railing brand, and leader in high-performance, low-maintenance outdoor living products, is seeking an Information Technology Intern to work with our Information Technology department to support Trex employees' technology needs. We are looking for a talented individual with a strong teamwork ethos. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping us deliver the next evolution in outdoor living through partnering with IT colleagues and business functional experts to identify, define, and drive digital capabilities to meet Trex's strategic and operational needs. A successful candidate will be analytical by nature, results and process driven, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can collaborate and influence across teams, but also drive the rapid decision-making necessary to move and iterate quickly.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Strong computer skills.
• Passion to learn.
• Ability to prioritize and efficiently manage time.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to solve problems accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users.
• Assist in troubleshooting technology issues.
• Develop new features while incorporating feedback from team members and clients.
• Maintain and upgrade legacy components to modern development standards.
• Collaborate with team members during design reviews to refine user experience.
• Gather and compile business requirements, conduct gap analysis and solutions design.
• Simulate business processes execution in the proposed solutions.
• Install and upgrade software/applications.
