2026 Summer Internship Program (Engineering)
About The Position
We are currently seeking high energy and motivated students to join our team as a 2026 Intern at PennAero. An internship with PennAero will provide you with invaluable experience that you could utilize in any role, and it is PennAero’s goal to evaluate its interns for potential entry-level openings. These internship opportunities will be located at our Weldmac Manufacturing facility in El Cajon, CA. We are looking for interns in the following areas: Engineering Project Scope: Set up sheets and process improvements Internship Course: Over the course of our 8 - 10- week internship experience you will have the opportunity to: Work directly with a mentor in your field of study while finding solutions to real world problems. Experience our products up close by touring our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Interact directly with our company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of PennAero Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging activities. Gain the skills and knowledge to become a future leader in the aerospace industry.
Requirements
- Current 3.0 GPA and above
- Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.
- Prior work experience.
- Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
- This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant’s ability to lawfully obtain access to such items
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
