About The Position

Trex Company, the world's number one decking and railing brand, and leader in high-performance, low-maintenance outdoor living products, is seeking an enthusiastic storyteller to take part in our summer internship program as a Communications Intern. The Intern can expect to assist with developing content for corporate internal communications and LinkedIn. Content will include social media posts, written articles, photography, and some videography. The Intern will also assist with employee programs, events, and activities to positively drive employee engagement and work with management on various projects within Human Resources to achieve that goal.

Requirements

• Experience with photography, videography, and/or graphic design preferred but not required.
• Strong writing skills with a passion for storytelling and attention to detail.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program.
• Preference for students in a Communications and/or Journalism focused degree or related program.
• Must have successfully completed at least two semesters of coursework or be an upcoming Junior or Senior with a GPA of 3.0 or above.

Responsibilities
