This role will be based in New York, NY with the expectation of a hybrid work model. Compensation: $30-33/hour The above range represents the typical hourly rate for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors. PineBridge is seeking a summer intern to join our Legal Department. This internship will focus on assisting the team with ongoing matters as well as specific projects. We hope students will learn to be a great partner, both with external clients and internal stakeholders. Our summer internship program will span over nine weeks and provide students with the opportunity to: Interact with and be mentored by senior members of our team; Act as part of the in-house legal department advising the business on various legal matters; Partner with legal staff on a rotating basis with respect to projects that may include: Fund creation/management; Risk Management, Intellectual Property, Employment, Privacy/Cybersecurity and Insurance; Work on short-term and summer-long projects impacting the firm and present their conclusions; Experience personal and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Ability to multi-task and possess strong project management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
  • A positive and professional attitude
  • Must be pro-active, self-motivated, outspoken, and well-organized
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Genuine passion for corporate responsibility and desire to learn about the equity markets
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university; or law school
