About The Position

Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing (SMS) is one of America’s top-five non-bank mortgage-servicing companies. Our clients are businesses that own mortgage loans (such as banks and real estate investment firms). On their behalf, we manage (or “service”) their loan portfolios, which means that we collect homeowners’ mortgage payments, pay their tax and insurance bills, and help homeowners in default to get current. The Investor Reporting Intern will fully immerse in the day-to-day activities of our Servicing team who are responsible for the financial aspects of mortgage banking, including but not limited to cash posting and cash movement. The internship program is 10 weeks long and provides rising seniors the opportunity for professional development by building relationships, gaining corporate experience, learning about our industry, and preparing students with the experience needed to have a rewarding career at our organization.
