About The Position

An internship with American Family Insurance is a great opportunity to build your skillset and explore your career interests. Our summer student internship is a 10 to 14 week program that starts in mid to late May and ends in August. During your internship, you'll work on impactful projects that make a difference at our company, with our customers, and in our communities. You'll also gain exposure to different areas of our business and have numerous opportunities for networking and coaching. Interns may be eligible for a one-time hiring bonus to assist with housing costs depending upon proximity to an AmFam office location.

Requirements

• Must be in student status at an accredited 4-year college or university during the internship
• Graduating August 2026 or later
• Must be pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD
• Major/program must align with internship role
• Political Science, Paralegal Studies or 1st year law student preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform Compliance Risk Assessments
• Help draft communications bringing awareness to the Company about Corporate Compliance and Ethics
• Help with our ethics program, which includes updating the Code of Conduct and working on mandatory training
