About The Position
What We Offer: The internship experience includes networking, relevant work assignments, group projects, social and wellness events, mentorship, and other informative learning sessions with key leaders. Our programming is designed to provide students with a blend of business and professional developmental opportunities that incorporates real-world experiences. What You’ll Do: Gain exposure to LPL’s finance models through strategy development, business execution and financial management across the entire firm. Analyze current financial operations and results, initiate efforts to improve process efficiencies, and identify variance drivers and levers to support forecasting and budget planning processes. Identify activities to minimize the effects of risk on capital and earnings which include market data and research to facilitate deal solicitation and best in class client services and products. Learn how to deliver change across finance platform. This could include, conducting risk oversight, business intelligence, and market solutions for the division. Requirements
- Strong communication, collaboration and time management skills
- Knowledge/interest in wealth management, risk, operations, trading, or corporate finance
- Relevant coursework, internships, or extracurricular leadership experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Nice To Haves
- experience with reporting tools: Tableau, Alteryx, Excel Macros
