About The Position

At Jones Edmunds, we help communities thrive through innovative engineering and consulting solutions. We’re looking for motivated and curious individuals to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program. If you’re eager to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom, gain real-world experience, explore engineering consulting, and have an interest in Roadway and Civil Site Design, Solid Waste, Water Resources, and/or Water/Wastewater this is the perfect opportunity to learn and grow under the mentorship of experienced engineers.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an accredited engineering program with at least 80 credit hours completed by Summer 2026.
  • No prior work experience required, just a willingness to learn and contribute.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for solving real-world problems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with standard engineering computations, data analysis, and basic technical tasks.
  • Support project teams by preparing drawings, visual aids, maps, and tabular information.
  • Participate in project reviews, quality checks, and brainstorming sessions to gain insight into real-world project delivery.
  • Learn and apply the Jones Edmunds Quality Program, ensuring work meets company, industry, and client standards.
  • Communicate with your supervisor about progress and challenges, developing strong professional habits.
  • Engage in professional development and build an understanding of ethical and professional responsibilities.
