Syfan interns will work with the learning and development team, management, and team mentors to gain practical experience and develop key business skills. Interns will perform logistics and business support functions in Syfan's high-tech environment and team-based culture.

  • Completes department rotation assignments to gain administrative and operations experience in various areas based on student interest.
  • Will be trained and developed to perform work in assigned primary roles in logistics operations support or in one of Syfan’s business support teams.
  • Will follow the direction of their assigned division manager, assigned team leads, and other members of the operations team as required.
  • May be introduced to more advanced role functions to gain additional real-world business experience based on the intern’s developmental progress.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills through the effective handling of internal and external communications.
  • Performs basic intern team member duties and demonstrates behaviors consistent with Syfan/Trilogy’s commitment to customer service.
  • Utilizes Syfan’s integrated technologies in executing the duties of the position.
  • Demonstrates the ability to adjust to changing business situations and can proactively identify issues and develop solutions.
  • Performs position specific duties according to the established operations procedures in meeting Syfan and customer requirements.
  • Demonstrates interactive skills and behaviors that strengthen the organization and the team's ability to perform.
  • Develops and delivers a presentation to members of management on project assignments and outcomes.
  • Participates in community service team projects.
  • Participates in company and intern team building events and sponsored company events.
  • High level of collaborative skills for effective teamwork.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and 'second mile' attitude toward team members, carriers and customers.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills including strong verbal, written, and digital communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
