An internship position is available for a highly motivated and independent scientist to join the laboratory of Haiyang Yu in the Department of Neuroscience at Genentech. The Yu lab investigates the mechanisms of neurodegeneration, with a focus on liquid-liquid phase separation and protein homeostasis. This position will focus on the dynamic composition of RNA granules in neurons to elucidate the pathobiology of many neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and ALS. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site. Contribute to a highly innovative project and collaborate productively with researchers across departments at Genentech.
